Privacy Policy

Introduction

At DeepLinkNow ("we", "our", or "us"), we take privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when providing deep linking services to our customers who integrate our technology into their applications.

We are committed to a privacy-first approach to deep linking, with minimal data processing and short-lived storage periods. We serve as a data processor for our customers (the "Customers" or "Developers"), who are the data controllers for their end-users' data.

Data Processing Overview

DeepLinkNow provides deferred deep linking technology that Customers integrate into their applications. When an end-user clicks on a deep link created using our service:

  • We temporarily process information to route the end-user to the correct destination
  • We temporarily store link parameters to preserve context through app installation
  • We do not permanently store end-user data beyond the minimum time needed for functionality

End-User Data We Process

When providing our deep linking service, we may temporarily process:

  • Device type and operating system (to route to appropriate app/store)
  • IP address (temporarily, for security and debugging purposes)
  • Link parameters passed by the Customer (to preserve context during deferred deep linking)
  • Basic click events (for service functionality and analytics)

We do not collect or process:

  • End-user personal information beyond what's included in the link parameters by our Customers
  • Cross-app tracking data
  • Browsing history outside of our deep linking service
  • Any data not essential for providing the requested deep linking functionality

Data Retention

We maintain a short-lived data retention policy for end-user data:

  • All deep link parameters are automatically deleted after successful link resolution or within 30 minutes, whichever comes first
  • Anonymous, aggregated analytics may be retained longer for service improvement and reporting to Customers

For data related to our direct Customers (not end-users):

  • Account information is retained as long as the Customer maintains an active account
  • Billing information is retained as required for legal and accounting purposes

Customer Responsibilities

As a data processor, we process end-user data according to our Customers' instructions. Our Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring they have a legal basis for processing any personal data included in deep links
  • Providing appropriate privacy notices to their end-users
  • Managing end-user consent where required
  • Complying with all applicable data protection laws
  • Not including sensitive personal information in deep link parameters

GDPR Compliance

For processing of European Economic Area (EEA) end-user data, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • We act as a data processor for our Customers, who are the data controllers
  • We process data only as necessary to provide our service
  • We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data
  • We assist our Customers in fulfilling their GDPR obligations where applicable
  • We provide data processing agreements for Customers who process EEA personal data

If you are an end-user of an application that uses DeepLinkNow's services and want to exercise your GDPR rights, please contact the developer of that application directly. If you need assistance identifying which application processed your data, we can help at .

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Supabase for authentication and database services
  • Stripe for payment processing (for our direct Customers only, not end-users)

These services have their own privacy policies that govern how they process data. None of these services receive end-user data beyond what is necessary for the functioning of our service.

Security Measures

We implement appropriate security measures to protect data that passes through our service:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security assessments
  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Minimal data retention periods

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify our Customers of any material changes by email and by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
