DeepLinkNow vs Adjust

Adjust is an attribution platform. Its deep linking product, TrueLink, sits inside it: links are created in Campaign Lab or the API, the SDK collects advertising IDs, and Adjust's own docs say deferred deep linking may be limited for users who opt out of tracking. I couldn't check its prices: the pricing page turned away automated requests on the day I looked.

Adjust: The Android SDK adds the AD_ID permission by default. The iOS SDK's privacy manifest declares tracking, with eight tracking domains.[6][7]

DeepLinkNow: Not on any of them
Adjust: adj.st, the legacy link domain, is on AdGuard Tracking Protection, and app.adjust.com is on EasyPrivacy[10][11]

Where DeepLinkNow is ahead

  • Published prices: $0, $49 or $149 a month. You only talk to me if you want Enterprise.
  • No attribution, no advertising IDs, no ATT prompt. A deferred link can be claimed for 1 hour after the click, and stored fingerprints are deleted within 30 days.
  • iOS clipboard handoff on every plan: the link page copies the link and the SDK reads it on first launch.
  • Any path on your link domain is already a link, with no prefix and nothing to create first.
  • No DeepLinkNow domain is on AdGuard or EasyPrivacy, so ad blockers don't stop the link page.
  • Your own domain from $49 a month on Startup, set up in the dashboard.
  • Hosted in Sydney (Vercel syd1, database in AWS ap-southeast-2), if that matters to your users or your lawyers.

Pick Adjust if…

  • You buy ads and need attribution, including SKAdNetwork when users opt out of tracking.
  • You ship games or less common platforms: Adjust has SDKs for Unity, Cocos2d-x, Steamworks, Windows and more.

My Growth plan is $149 a month for up to 500,000 monthly active users. The Adjust contract buys attribution as well, which I don't sell, so if you need that, this isn't a like-for-like comparison.

Switching from Adjust

  1. 1Add the DLN SDK next to the one you have and ship it.
  2. 2Point your link domain at DLN. Paths on it work straight away.
  3. 3Read the link with checkDeferredDeepLink() on first launch.
  4. 4Keep Adjust for attribution if you still need it. DLN doesn't care.
Run both side by side while you switch. My SDK doesn't care what else is in your app.
